These Terms govern your use of ziomed.health and anything you buy from us through it. By using the site, creating an account or placing an order, you are agreeing to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

ZIOMED is a licensed online pharmacy operating out of Nairobi, Kenya, regulated by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. Contact details: +254 768 933871, [email protected].

2. Your account

You need to be at least 18 years old to register. Keep your password private — anything done through your account is treated as done by you until you tell us otherwise. If you think your account has been compromised, email us and we will lock it while we investigate.

3. Ordering and pricing

  • Prices on the site are in Kenyan Shillings and include VAT where it applies.
  • An order is not confirmed until we send you an email or SMS confirmation. A charge on M-Pesa or your card before that point will be refunded if we cannot fulfil the order.
  • We try to keep stock levels accurate, but if something is out of stock when we go to pick it, we will call you, offer a replacement of equal value, or refund you in full.
  • Pricing and typographical errors do happen. If a product was listed at an obviously wrong price (for example, a BP monitor for KSh 50), we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you rather than honour the mistake.

4. Payment

We accept M-Pesa, debit and credit cards through Paystack, and cash on delivery within the Nairobi metro. We do not store your full card number. Failed payments are not an order — please try again or use another method.

5. Prescription medicines

Prescription-only items (POMs) are dispensed only against a valid prescription from a registered prescriber in Kenya. We may phone your prescriber to verify a script before dispensing. We may refuse to dispense if the prescription is illegible, expired, or looks tampered with, and in those cases we will refund you in full.

6. Delivery

We aim for same-day delivery in Nairobi and its environs when orders are placed before noon, and up to 48 hours elsewhere in Kenya. Timings are our best effort, not a guarantee — weather, traffic, public holidays and courier delays all happen. Deliveries are made between 8am and 8pm, and someone 18 or older must be present to receive and sign for the parcel.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy. In short: 7 days for sealed goods, 48 hours for damage claims, and many categories cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

8. Medical advice disclaimer

The product descriptions, articles, and pharmacist notes on this site are for general information only. They are not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional who has seen you in person. Do not start, stop or change a medicine on the basis of something you read here. If your symptoms are getting worse or not settling, see a clinician.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to order on someone else's behalf without their knowledge, to attempt to probe, scan or break our systems, to scrape our catalogue for a competing site, or to post reviews that are defamatory, off-topic or obviously fake. We will remove content and close accounts that breach this, without refund for anything ordered.

10. Intellectual property

The ZIOMED name and logo, the site design, the product photography we have commissioned, and the written content are ours. Brand logos and packaging shots belong to the respective manufacturers and appear under fair use for the purpose of selling their products. Do not copy or republish our material without written permission.

11. Liability

We are liable for direct, foreseeable losses caused by our failure to meet these Terms, up to the value of the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (missed work, loss of profits, emotional distress) or for issues outside our reasonable control such as courier failures, power outages, payment gateway downtime, or force majeure. Nothing in this clause limits any liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest change. If you continue to use the site after a change takes effect, you are taken to have accepted the new version.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be referred to the courts of Kenya in Nairobi.
